A Family Run Business
Tripp Edwards has been in the insurance field since 1998 where he started as a claims adjuster for State Farm. In 2003 he decided to become an agent and was appointed with Farm Bureau. After working for Farm Bureau in personal lines for 4 years Tripp decided he wanted to open up an independent agency where he could offer more services to his community. In 2007 Tripp made his dream a reality and Edwards Insurance Agency of Greenville, Inc. was created. He is a Wade Hampton High School graduate and continued his education at Clemson University where he received a degree in Construction Science in 1996.
Stephanie “Pepe” Edwards came aboard Edwards Insurance Agency in February of 2014. She is a 1995 Columbia College graduate and received a BFA in dance. After graduating from Columbia College Pepe instructed dance for 10 years and in 2006 she embarked on a new career path and became a licensed producer with Horace Mann. Pepe assisted teachers from Anderson and Pickens county schools with their auto and homeowner’s insurance needs. Being with an independent agency allows Pepe to extend more options to her clients.
Want to know why it's better to be with an independent insurance agent?
Independent insurance agents typically represent a number of insurance companies, or "carriers", and sell the products that most appropriately meet the needs of their clients. Their expertise allows them to advise their clients about appropriate amounts of insurance and insurance coverage's for their particular needs. Working with an insurance intermediary service allows the independent agent to review many quotes and offer their clients the best policy options available.
