Tripp Edwards - President

Tripp EdwardsTripp has been in the insurance field since 1998 where he started as a claims adjuster for State Farm.  In 2003 he became an insurance agent and was appointed with Farm Bureau.  After working for Farm Bureau in personal lines for 4 years, Tripp decided he wanted to open an independent agency where he could offer more specialized services to his community.  In 2007 Tripp made his dream a reality and Edwards Insurance Agency of Greenville, Inc. was founded!  Tripp is a Greenville native and is a Wade Hampton High School graduate.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in Construction Science from Clemson University in 1996 and is an avid Clemson fan.  Tripp is married to his wife Pepe (who also works for the agency) and has two sons Will and Jack. Tripp enjoys being an independent agent so he can educate his clients on the ins and outs of insurance and provide a tailor-made package to his customers.

Pepe Edwards - Customer Service Representative

Pepe EdwardsStephanie “Pepe” Edwards earned her BFA in dance from Columbia College in 1995.  After Pepe graduated from Columbia College she instructed dance for 10 years and even danced in the opening ceremony of the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, GA.  In 2006 Pepe embarked on a new career path and became a licensed producer with Horace Mann.  Pepe assisted teachers from Anderson and Pickens county schools with their auto and insurance needs.  Pepe began working alongside Tripp at Edwards Insurance Agency in 2014.  Pepe is originally from Piedmont, SC and attended Wren High School.  The thing Pepe enjoys most about working for an independent agency is it allows her to extend more personalized options to her clients.

Amanda Mead - Insurance Agent

Amanda MeadAmanda is the lone Gamecock in an office full of Clemson Tigers! She attended the University of South Carolina and graduated with a degree in Hospitality Management in 2008.  From 2008-2016 she worked in various manager roles for Aramark, a corporate foodservice provider in Greenville at Furman University and the Governor’s School for the Arts.  At the age of 30 she decided it was time for a career change and for a career outside of food.  She studied to get her producer license and began working for Edwards Insurance in June of 2016.  Amanda is married to her husband Matt and they have a son who was born in December 2016.  Amanda is originally from Charlotte, NC but has been in Greenville since 2008.  What Amanda enjoys most about the insurance industry is being able to educate her clients on their coverages as well as finding the best fit for their needs.
